I am regretfully emailing you to tell you that I am leaving my post at Drama society (president) this is due to heavy workload I have during my 3rd and final year in drama and theatre arts not to mention the even bigger workload that is to come.
I would also like to state that DS team has heard rumours that members are not happy with the lack of organisation that is taking place within the DS as the moment. And have seen firsthand the stress of lack of communication and organisation. This has led some of the DS team to leave there post, we are very sorry to see them go be understand completely. In this I ask that anyone who is willing to be involved in running the DS and wants to see more organisation and change in the coming month to please come forward. There will be no vote for this due to we are in desperate need of hands.
We need those who are good at communicating and don’t mind spending time on your phone and or having meetings on a regular basis. We need TWO more vices, and possibly anyone else who would like to be involved in organisation of ‘anything’ and can spare some time to help out. Such thing as socials, scratch nights and committee meetings need more TLC.
I will still be involved in the drama society to help along with the workload and to help any new starters with what the basics are. I am so sorry I am unable to be more involved and would hate to see the DS go down the toilet, so I ask please all those who think they can do better and want to make change to come forward!!
