England Students V France Universities

As part of Richmond FC’s 150th Anniversary the club is pleased to announce it will be hosting an international rugby match between England Students and France Universities on Friday 25th February kick off 7:30pm. Located just down the road from Twickenham this will be an excellent appetiser before the England versus France RBS 6 Nations international

Dodgeball Mania!

I am pleased to announce the forthcoming event in aid of Comic Relief, to be held at St Mary’s (Tennis/ Sports Hall) on the 2nd of December, starting 12pm midday. 

The idea of the event is to engage teams of 6 students/ tutors (+ 1 sub), who will compete to become DODGEBALL MANIA CHAMPIONS.  We will not be charging teams for entry but it will raise money for Comic Relief by way of advanced ticket sales for spectators (£2 a ticket).

London 2012 Games Maker – get involved in the greatest show on earth!

Volunteering at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be a once in a lifetime opportunity.  The London 2012 Organising Committee (www.london2012.com/volunteering) will recruit volunteers from across the UK.  Applications are expected to be around 500,000 so places will be in very high demand. Enthusiastic and well-trained volunteers will be essential to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, impacting on every person who experiences the Games.

Sport St Mary’s will be working with LOCOG to recruit specialist sport volunteers for 2012. These are sport specific roles that are not available through the main volunteer application process and provides a greater…

Sports Awards Dinner 2010

This years Annual Sports Dinner and Awards at Twickenham Stadium was hugely successful, not only for the award winners on the evening, but also everyone who enjoyed a very entertaining night!

A special thank you must be made to the evenings’ guest speaker Delon Armitage who gave an interview on stage to Tarik Habte of SMUC Radio.

The evenings celebrations continued until the early morning and was enjoyed by all. Pics by Richie Collins.
