A Message from University Senior Managment

FINAL WARNING

Since the beginning of term reports from neighbours and the emergency services regarding unacceptable student behaviour have been increasing culminating in some very serious incidents last night, Wednesday 12th October 2011.  The University College and Students’ Union have dedicated significant time and resources to managing this problem, such as increased security patrols and entering into partnerships with local night clubs to provide safe and reliable transportation.  In spite of our efforts, the behaviour of a significant minority of students is continuing to bring the University College’s reputation into disrepute.  You are hereby advised that we are now increasing…

GOAL! (Go Out And Listen!) Campaign

From October 10th - 15th, SMSU will be trawling the campus to find out YOUR opinions about life at St. Mary’s - what’s great about the place and what could be better. It’s also a great chance to find out more about what SMSU can do to make your time here more enjoyable and productive!

Look out for our team in bright t-shirts around between 11am and 2pm everyday. Every student who takes part will be entered into a prize draw for a free Christmas Ball ticket!

Noise @ Events

Hi Everyone, we hope you enjoyed Rizzle Kicks and Fresher’s Week is going well for you all.
It has come to attention that a lot of students leaving the events are making a lot of unnecessary noise when walking through the local area. SMSU ask that you be considerate to the local residents and keep noise to a minimum when you leave the campus during the evening.
Don’t let pointless noise stop us from holding great events in the future. Thank you!
