Welcome to the SMSU! 

St. Marys Student Union exists to represent students, to offer a range of services, organise social events and entertainment, and host sports clubs and other societies - all designed to bring everyone together and add value to your life and experience while studying at St Mary's! The most important thing to remember is that SMSU is run for you and by you! All St Mary's students are automatically members of SMSU. If you have any questions or want to know whats going on feel free to give us a call or pop in.

What a fantastic job the boys have done so far this year! But lets not get ahead of ourselves! The year is certainly not over yet. After the overwhelming success of the recent Sports Ball, next is the SUMMER BALL on June 5th! Tickets are available from the SU Office and it's sure to be bigger and better than ever! Well done boys...

Ch-ch-ch-changes....!

As you all know, there has been lots happening in and around the SU recently. Friday 1st May saw the voting and announcement of our new SU and AU presidents among others. An excellent day was had by all!

You are all users of Facebook, MySpace, Bebo – think of this as a much smaller but (hopefully) more relevant network for when you are in ‘student mode’.

It is still being built so there isn't much to do yet and it won’t fully launch for another month when you will be able to find and connect with other students, discover all the groups and events and lots more. There are already 45 other Uni/College being networks set up so you will also be explore/visit those campuses and find other students or groups around the country.
